Inverness and Loch Ness Scotland - August 14, 2014

We went to Inverness to try to go on a boat tour and see the wild dolphins located around there but it was raining too much so we decided to take the kids to an indoor play center and once the rain stopped we drove to Loch Ness to look at the beautiful scenery there.
Here is a shot from the restaurant we went to for lunch.  It had a chair that looked like a throne so of course Aurelie wanted to sit in it.  Her dream is to become a princess.

Inverness Castle.  Built out of red sandstone overlooking the city.  Very beautiful.

We decided to drive around the entire Loch Ness because it is such a beautiful area.  No sightings of the Loch Ness Monster unfortunately but we were able to buy some stuffed animal Nessie's for the kids.

Urquhart Castle, located next to Loch Ness.

Loch Tarff, located next to Loch Ness.  Such a beautiful area.

Some friendly deer walking next to Loch Tarff.

Some rare pictures of me and Thierry together.  We found some nice fellow travelers willing to take our picture for us.

I could not get over how beautiful it was to be in this area.  Every direction you looked was like a postcard.

The bridge in Inverness at night.  It had beautiful rainbow lights across it.
