We went to a wonderful primate park in Apeldoorn called Apenheul. It has all kinds of primates and the smaller ones you could hold and let them climb on you. You could also get very close to the lemurs. They had larger primates as well like orangutans and gorilla's that you could see from afar but the breeds that did not get very large were free to walk around the park with the people and they would jump on your shoulder or sit on your lap. Very cute.
Aurelie loved this lemur. It got very close to her and even climbed on her lap for a bit.
They had a lot of babies as well because it was spring time. It was great to see the mommies carrying the babies on their backs.
They had a wonderful play park as well. We stayed here so long that we were not able to visit the gorilla section before closing time. Oh well. At least the kids had fun.
