Thanksgiving Point

We took my aunt Diane, cousin Julie, and her kids Parker and Mitchell to Thanksgiving Point during their visit from Oregon. We had a great time. The boys got to ride a pony and take a carriage ride. They had some rabbits, chickens, turkeys, peacocks, lamas, sheep, cows, and all kinds of animals for the kids to look at. We also visited the dinosaur museum but I didn't take any pictures there. It was great having Diane, Julie, and her boys come to visit us.
We will see them soon when we come to Oregon for a visit next month.
Hopefully Diane will have a chance to recover from all the kids climbing all over her by then. They sure loved having her around. Xavier wanted her to be his third Grandma.
Thanks again for coming to visit us. We had a great time.

Happy First Birthday Aurélie!!!

Our little baby is 1 year old now. Hard to believe. She has grown so much and is such a sweet baby. She is really good at repeating what you say. She even said "Gam ma" for Grandma the other day. She smiles all the time and is getting really good at walking.
We are so happy to have her in our lives.
We had a great party with all of my Clark cousins and their kids. We were missing my sister Chandra and cousins Cameron and John and their families but were very happy to have so many family members there.
I had not seen many of my cousins for several years and I had never met most of their kids so it was great seeing them all and spending Aurélie's birthday with them. Happy Birthday sweet Aurélie. We love you.

Strawberry Festival

Here are some pictures from the Strawberry Festival. They had yummy strawberries and cream and caramel apples and lots and lots of rides. The kids had a great time. They we went to McDonald's for them to play inside for a while and get out of the heat. It was nice to spend time together as a family.

Fun at home

Here are a few pictures of us hanging out at home. We had some meat shipped to us with dry ice inside so I made some smoke in the kitchen sink for the boys to play with. They loved it. Reminds me of those Halloween drinks when I was a kid.
Aurelie is starting to walk. Right now she will take two steps and then sit down but she is great at walking while holding onto something.
My kids are growing so fast.
Our silly cat Jolie likes to get into everything. We find her in the strangest places, including this toy basket. At least she is amusing.

Renaissance Festival

I took Xavier to the Renaissance Festival in Ogden, Utah and we had a great time. We got to see people all dressed up in Renaissance garb, Xavier got his face painted, we ate a large turkey leg, and even saw some jousting. It was a wonderful day. Xavier had a great time watching the pirate show. They even had a Jack Sparrow look-a-like. He was really good.
They also had yummy homemade root beer.
Xavier also got to paint his own sword, ride a horse, and dig for buried treasure.
All in all a great day.
