Fun at home with the cousins

Chandra, Chad and their kids Max, Emma, and C.J. came over for a visit. Unfortunately Colton and Cooper could not join their siblings for this visit.
Julien and Xavier had a great time playing with their cousins. It sure is nice living close to family.

The Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island

Thierry took his family to the Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island so they could see the beautiful scenery and some buffalo up close. They loved it, especially the sunset.

Christmas 2011

We went really overboard on presents for Christmas this year. Our kids are so spoiled now. Xavier's favorite present was his Nintendo Dsi and Julien's favorite gift was between his race track and his Leapster Explorer. Aurelie got a toy phone that she loves as well as a Dora doll and lots of clothes. Thierry got a ladder and I got my camera.
We were really happy to spend this Christmas with Thierry's family as well as my Mom who lives with us in a basement apartment. It was great having so much family around.
We also had Christmas dinner at our house this year and Chandra and Chad and their kids as well as Jill and Brock and their kids came over for dinner. Talk about a full house. We had 9 kids there including: Max, Emma, C.J., Reagan, Eli, Whitney, Xavier, Julien, and Aurelie. Luckily there were 10 adults there as well to take care of them.
We had turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, ham, and 3 pies. Really yummy.

Thierry's sister Isabelle and his parents came to visit us from France and we took them to Park City. That was a lot of fun. It was nice having them come for a visit. We didn't get to take them to any National Parks on this visit though. Hopefully they will come to Utah again soon and we can show them some of the amazing National Parks the U.S.A. has to offer.

Julien's 4th Birthday!!!!!!

My little Julien is turning 4 tomorrow. I have to work on his official birthday so we celebrated it today. We went to Chucky Cheese for pizza and games and had a great time. Julien got really tired towards the end of the evening and started throwing tantrums and laying on the floor and screaming so it was time to go. Then we had a nice cake at home with Thomas the Train on it. Julien really loved that.
We got Julien a great play house for his birthday and the movie Cars 2. We set up the play house in the playroom downstairs so he can play in it during the Winter months. He really loves it. It has a little kitchen inside and a telephone that makes little beep noises and even has a door bell. I will have to post some pictures of it later.
Julien has grown so much. It is hard to believe he is just turning 4 years old. He is still obsessed with cars and will even sleep with some of his favorite cars. We have a feeling he will either be a car engineer or mechanic or something involving cars when he is older.
Happy Birthday my sweet little Julien. We love you so much.
