Hoh National Rain Forest, Washington, October 4, 2013

We decided to visit the Hoh National Rainforest on our way to Portland Oregon.  Unfortunately this happened to be during the Government Shutdown so all National Parks were closed.  We did get some nice pictures on the way to the entrance of the park and on the way back but we were not able to enter the actual park.  :(  Oh well, we were kind of in a rush to drive to Portland anyway.  I just could not believe the Government Shut Down would close all the National Parks.  They also closed the entrances to all the beaches on the way South to Portland.  Unbelievable.

I thought this restaurant was funny.  Instead of the Hard Rock Cafe it was the Hard Rain Cafe because it was next to the Rainforest.  We did not go inside but I had to take a picture of the outside.

Twilight tour, Washington, October 2013

We decided to go visit the beautiful area where the Twilight films were made.  This is where we stopped for lunch in Port Angeles.  They had really yummy food.  The restaurant also had a beautiful garden around it.

I had to stop and take a picture of the Restaurant Bella Italia in Port Angeles where Edward and Bella had their first date.  We did not eat here though.

There was some really beautiful scenery between Port Angeles and Forks.  This area has to be one of the most beautiful in the world.  I loved it.

A nice market on the way to Forks.

Here we are arriving at the town line for Forks.

The Forks City Hall and Police Station

Forks High School

Bella Swan's house
Here is the Treaty Line going into La Push.  Very funny.  No Vampires Beyond this Point!

Here are some beautiful pictures of the beach at La Push.  The kids loved playing at the beach.  Aurelie fell asleep in the car though and did not want to wake up so she missed out on the fun.  We did not get to stay very long because we had to drive to the Hoh National Rainforest and then all the way to Portland Oregon so we just stayed for about an hour.  I could have stayed here for a week easily though.  So beautiful.

The Museum of Flight, Seattle Washington, September 2013

Here we are at the Museum of Flight in Seattle Washington.  The kids loved playing on the planes and especially loved the space section.  There were even flight simulators.  Pretty Awesome!
