Edinburgh, Scotland - August 13, 2014

We visited the beautiful city of Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival as well as the Arts Festival so there was a lot going on during our visit.  First thing we did was take a double decker bus tour of the city so we could get our bearings and see what we wanted to visit.

 Beautiful Edinburgh Castle.

It was amazing to see so many old buildings in the city.  Such a beautiful city.

Looks like this zebra has an office job.

The Fringe Festival was interesting to see.  A lot of street performers and artists.  We were not able to see too many performers due to us having the kids with us but we were able to see some of it.

The Radisson Hotel in downtown Edinburgh looked great.  Might have to come back and stay here sometime.

Apparently the store here is Really Scottish.  Too bad we did not have a chance to have a look inside.

We wanted to eat at The World's End pub but they told us children had to be at least 5 years old to be allowed inside.  Aurelie is only 4 so we could not eat inside.  Too bad, this place looked pretty great.

Part of the science museum showing information about the Earth's Core.

This is the Scottish House of Parliament building in downtown Edinburgh.  I was surprised to see such a modern building instead of something older.

More pictures of the House of Parliament.

Some shots of the beautiful countryside around Edinburgh.

Our drive back to the hotel.  So beautiful.
