Utah pictures

Here are some pictures of my and Julien's trip to Utah. We were really happy to see Chandra get married and to visit with our family there. Asside from visiting my immediate family we managed to visit a lot of cousins and their kids as well as my Uncle Walt, Aunt Katherine, and Aunt Diane. Julien loved his great Uncle Walt and even sat quietly on his lap during the entire wedding. Walt really has a way with kids.

Julien really loved meeting all his cousins as well, especially Parker who is only a few days older than him and who came with his Mommy and Grandma all the way from Oregon.

Katheryn made us a very yummy salad when we visited their house and cousin Angela made a very good chocolate cake that included beets to make it more moist. That was really good.

You will both have to send me the recipes so I can make them myself.

We spent most of the time sleeping at my parents house and the last two nights sleeping at Jill and Brock's house. I had to take a picture of their T.V. Isn't it enormous? Loved watching movies on that thing. They also got a nice new Toyota Sequoia that seats 8 people and comes with a DVD player and monitor for the kids in the back. I sure loved riding in that thing.

All in all it was a great trip and we are really looking forward to next year when we can all come out and visit everyone again.

Chandra and Chad's Wedding 22.August.2008

Here are some pictures of Chandra and Chad's wedding. You can see she had a total of 5 bridesmaids including myself and her maid of honor Stacie. It was at Stacie's beautiful house located right next to the mountains south of Salt Lake City, Utah. Unfortunately I had the stomach flu during the wedding and ended up falling asleep for 2 hours right after the pictures were taken and missed most of the party. But what I managed to attend I thoroughly enjoyed.

The men were all very handsome in their tuxedo's and the food looked really good. She had 2 chocolate fountains, one with white chocolate and one with milk chocolate. She also had yummy fruit and cake and marshmellows to dip in the chocolate. I wasn't able to eat anything at this time and still regret not getting any of that angel food cake. Oh well, I guess I will have to buy some the next time I come to visit.

Chad seems like a great guy and I am very happy to welcome him and his two boys to our family.

Pictures from early August

Here are some pictures of a recent trip to Würzburg where we visited Jackie. We stopped by there on our way home from the Frankfurt area where we bought our car. We had a great time touring the city and visiting with Jackie. Thanks for taking time away from your studying to hang out with us sweetie.

Here are some pictures of Xavier riding the carosel at the Dorfen Volksfest. He loved it and wanted to ride it all day but after 6 rides Mama got hungry and insisted that we eat.

Susi's 30th Birthday

Here are some pictures from Susi's 30th birthday party. She rented a nice venue to hold a private party and offered us some lovely food to snack on. Peggy even brought her amazing cupcakes and a small cake for the Birthday Girl. The evening was a great success.

We also went to a beergarten the following day to celebrate again with all the kids included and had a lovely time. Xavier really enjoyed the playground and loved seeing all his beloved aunties.
