Las Vegas Nevada

We went to Las Vegas, Nevada from September 29th through October 1st to visit my sister Melissa, her husband Drew, and their kids Mia, Cole, Luke, and Ella. We also were able to go to the Buddy Walk which raises money for Downs Syndrome and visit a good friend Taiya and her husband Jimmy and their two beautiful kids Kian and Kasia. Kian was born with Downs Syndrome and he is an amazing little guy so it was great to go there and support him. It was really nice to finally meet Taiya and Jimmy's kids. They are both so beautiful.

We went to a great amusement park at the Circus Circus casino called the Adventure Dome. That was a lot of fun. We stayed there all day and went on so many rides that I felt a bit sick to my stomach afterwards. I guess I am not as young as I used to be. We still had a lot of fun.
We also went to the Bellagio Hotel and had the brunch buffet. That was really yummy and they had wonderful decorations inside to celebrate fall including a talking tree. The boys loved it.
Their best part of the trip was playing at their cousins house. They miss their cousins already so we will have to plan another trip to Las Vegas soon.
Thank you Melissa and Drew for hanging out with us and a lot of Thanks to Taiya for inviting us to the Buddy Walk. We had a lot of fun.

Xavier lost his first tooth!!!

Xavier lost his very first tooth on September 16, 2011. It had been very loose for about 2 weeks and finally it was just hanging on by a little bit and we decided to finally pull it out. I tried tying a piece of string to it so it would be easier to pull out but his tooth was so slippery that it would just slide off. So finally after me trying for about 30 minutes to remove it as painlessly as possible I gave up and gave him a tissue to see if he could pull it out himself. After about one second he had it in his hand. It came right out for him. He said it did not even hurt. What a tough guy. He was so proud. It was very exciting the next day when he found a little goodie bag from the tooth fairy with candy and a golden dollar inside. He wanted to use his money to buy a present so we took him shopping and he picked out some toy cars that have different parts you can put on them to change how they look and even turn it into a helicopter or airplane. It cost more than a dollar but that is OK. We were so proud of him. He was very proud of himself too. You are awesome Xavier!

Xavier's 6th Birthday!!!!!

Xavier celebrated his 6th birthday on September 12th and a couple days before we had his birthday party at Boondocks with my sister Jill, her husband Brock, and their kids Reagan, Eli, and Whitney.
We had a great time. The kids loved going on the race cars and playing mini-golf and going on the many other rides. Xavier really enjoyed playing Lazer tag and playing the video games. We won a lot of tickets from playing the games and Xavier even got an extra 200 tickets wrapped around him while we sang Happy Birthday. So we were able to trade them in for a lot of prizes. We will definitely be going to Boondocks again. It was a lot of fun.
Happy Birthday sweet Xavier. We love you Forever!
