Xavier's Birthday Legoland trip

Today was the official Fire Department day. So the kids were able to tour real fire trucks. They seemed to prefer looking at the lego people instead though.

Xavier insisted on driving the boat which caused a little bit of a pile up.

Alex didn't enjoy this ride very much.

Maya loved playing in the parks.

We all loved riding the train.

Future paramedic.

Xavier loves this rollercoaster.

This ride scared Xavier at first but after the drop he was fine.

We went to Legoland again for Xavier's birthday. We went there prepared for rain but the weather was actually quite nice. It was a little cold but other than that it was a fine day for going on the rides. There were hardly any lines at all so we didn't have to wait to go on the attractions. And since we had Alex, Sophie, and little Maya with us we were able to take turns going on the adult rides as well. Xavier had a great time playing with Maya and Julien enjoyed observing everyone and everything from the stroller. Xavier grew a little since his last trip to Legoland so was able to go on a few more rides. He was afraid of the log flume ride at first but after going down the steep hill he didn't think it was that scary after all. What a brave boy.

Xavier's 3rd Birthday

Here is little Michelle Rodrigues. Isn't she sweet.

Can you believe Priscilla just had a baby 3 months ago?

Julien is such a sweet boy.

Here is little Charlotte. Doesn't she look just like her Papa.

Julien sure loved the cake.

Xavier loves blowing out candles.

We went to the Hof Brau Keller for Xavier's birthday this year. It has a great play area for kids right next to the table we reserved. We were also able to bring Xavier's birthday cake from home to serve after dinner. Xavier had a great time. We were all happy to have Elodie with her two girls Johanna and Charlotte as well as Susi there. Julien loved sitting on Susi's lap.

We then went to Priscilla and Christian's apartment afterwards to share the birthday cake. Most people thought the birthday cake was a little too sweet except for Julien. He loved it. I guess American cakes are a little too sweet for the European crowd.

Check out how big Michelle and Charlotte are getting. They are growing so fast.

A day at the park

We went to the park yesterday and I took a few pictures. Aren't my boys getting big.

They are both such sweet boys. I feel so lucky to have them. I give them at least 20 kisses a day. I can't help it. Soon they are going to be embarrassed when I do that so I have to get all the hugs and kisses in while I can.

And a first try to attached a video from Xavier...

Xavier's first day at kindergarten

Xavier started kindergarten on Tuesday 2 September 2008.

He loves it. He only stayed 3 hours the first day because the teachers thought it might be better if he started off slowly. But when I came to pick him up he didn't want to leave. So starting on Wednesday 3 September he has been going for 6 hours a day 5 days a week.

He only has 15 kids in his class and two great teachers that just started teaching this year. So they are nice and fresh with lots of ideas.
We feel very lucky to have found him such a great kindergarten that he really enjoys. It is also only 2 blocks from our house so we just walk there and back every day. Talk about convenient.
