Christmas 2009

Julien just loves noodles. He tried to fit as many in his mouth as he can. I am surprised he does not choke.

Xavier went to the movies with Thierry to watch the new Chipmunks movie. This was the first time Xavier had gone to the movies since he was three months old and we snuck him into a show with us. He was very well behaved and loved the movie. I guess we will have to take him to the cinema more often now.
He took his new friend from Santa, a stuffed lion he named "Ducky".

Thierry's new ping pong racket case. To keep it nice and safe.

This is a pig shaped flashlight that can be charged by pressing a button repeatedly. Xavier got a blue one, Julien got a green one, and I got a pink one. They should come in handy.

Watch out competitors, Thierry is armed with a decent racket now.

Our little Superman. Xavier is obsessed with Superman at the moment and always wants to wear his costume. Thierry even let him wear it to kindergarten a couple of times. The teachers loved it. He spent the whole day flying around and saying he was strong. What a cute little guy.

Xavier just loves getting presents.

Julien's remote control caterpillar. Finally a remote control he can play with.

Xavier's wall climbing car. Really cool.

Xavier had a Jack Skellington stocking. He loved it.

The boys coming down to see their presents.

Here are some pictures from our Christmas day. We stayed at home this year and just had a relaxing time. Xavier got a remote control car that climbs the walls and Julien got a remote control caterpillar. They also got the kid version of Monopoly, flashlights that look like pigs, hand-held drums, a stuffed animal, and a bunch of candy and chocolate. So they were very happy. Thierry was happy to get the new Tori Amos CD as well as a fancy new ping pong racket and case. Now he can really kick butt at work playing ping pong.
I picked out my own Christmas present while I was in Hong Kong. A beautiful diamond pendant with the Chinese sign of the Rabbit representing the year I was born. It has 20 tiny diamonds inside and the rabbit spins inside a crystal center as I walk or move the necklace around. Very unique. Thank you Thierry for my lovely gift.

Man, Thierry sure got off easy this year. He didn't have to pick out a gift for you. The kids gifts are really cute. Looks like they had a great Christmas.
